Update Thursday 11 November – Changes to accepted proof of medical exemption effective Friday 12 November at 6pm

From 6pm on Friday 12 November, the only form of COVID-19 exemption accepted at our facilities is an Australian Immunisation Register form.

The wait is over! We are excited to confirm that indoor services will begin to return from Monday 1 November in response to the State Government’s announced further easing of restrictions on Sunday 24 October.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we finalise plans to resume indoor services. This planning has been affected by recently updated directions provided by the Chief Health Officer, requiring all onsite staff to also be fully vaccinated. We welcome this direction and the added safety it provides our staff and customers, however in order to meet this new directive for staff we will not be able to open all three Active Monash facilities until Monday 1 November. We’re looking forward to welcoming you back!

Please note - Services are subject to density limits and all staff and customers (aged 16+) are required to be fully vaccinated or provide proof of legal exception. Bookings for services are not required unless specifically stated.

Memberships

All memberships remain suspended until 31 March 2022. Please reactivate your membership if you would like to return earlier. See below for more information on memberships.

Swimming lessons resume Monday 8 November. All Learn to Swim participants will receive an email update shortly.

Melbourne Cup Public Holiday

We will have revised hours for the upcoming Melbourne Cup Public Holiday on Tuesday 2 November.

  • Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre – 9am to 6pm
  • Clayton Aquatics & Health Club – 9am to 5pm
  • Oakleigh Recreation Centre – 9am to 6pm

 

Check-In

All customers will be required to QR check-in upon arriving at the facility using the State Government Service Victoria App.  Assistance will be available for those without a compatible device.

 

Vaccination requirements

All customers aged 16+ will be required to provide proof of full vaccination status, or an authorised medical exemption to access the facilities.  For further information please visit the Victorian Government Coronavirus (COVID-19) website.

 

Facemasks

Facemasks continue to be required indoors and outdoors unless a legal exception applies.

 

Memberships

All memberships remain suspended until 31 March 2022.  Membership will automatically reactivate as of 1 April 2022 unless further communication is received.

Additional options include:

  • Reactivate - Members may choose to reactivate their membership before this date by completing the Reactivate My Membership form.
  • Cancel – Members may choose to cancel their membership if they do not intend to return by the specified date. Cancellation can be requested by completing the Cancel My Membership form. 

 

Multi-Visit Passes

The expiry date of all Multi-Visit Passes will be extended in line with the period that the service they relate to were closed.
